FAGOR Team was one of the most iconic representatives of Spanish cycling in the late 1980s and early 1990s, boasting a roster of legendary riders. In 1989, Spanish cyclist Marino Lejarreta delivered an outstanding performance at the Tour de France, consistently finishing in the top ten across multiple stages. At the 1987 Vuelta a España, Colombian rider Luis Herrera secured third place overall and claimed the King of the Mountains polka dot jersey.
The FAGOR Team laid the foundation for the success of subsequent Spanish teams, such as Banesto. More than just a symbol of Spanish cycling, FAGOR embodied the golden era of professional cycling in the 1980s. Its legacy continues to inspire countless fans and young riders to pursue speed and glory
